Admin Account for Large Organizations
Overview
The DESSA System includes a specialized User Role unique to large organizations whose accounts house multiple individual programs. The Organization Administrator or Org Admin User Role is designed to provide a comprehensive high-level view of a large organization's use of the DESSA System and assessment results. This article will provide information on the various reports, dashboards, and comparison tools available for an Org Admin in the DESSA System.
Org Admin User Role Defined
Should I be an Org Admin or Program Admin?
A Program Administrator has access to manage all sites, staff, and students in the program's DESSA System. The Program Admin can complete uploads of new rosters or add and remove staff and students individually. Program Admin accounts are created for you by the DESSA Technical Support Team.
While an Org Admin has access to view data from all Programs and Sites, it cannot add, edit or remove staff and student profiles. Rather, this User Role is focused on providing administrators in oversight positions reports and data analysis of how students are performing across the entire organization through a litany of easy-to-access reports and data comparison tools.
Org Admin accounts are also created for you by the DESSA Technical Support Team.
Adding or changing an Org Admin
To change or add an Org Admin, a current Org Program administrator or an executive/administrator within your organization will need to submit a request to our DESSA Technical Support Team. Select Submit a Request in the top-right corner. In the request, please include the full name and email address of the Org Admin.
After our team updates the account, the new Org Admins will receive an invitation to create their DESSA System account.
