Viewing Student Registrations for the DESSA Student Portal

Overview:

This article will explain how to navigate to the Student Self-Report Account Management page in the DESSA System Educator Portal to view which students are registered for the DESSA Student Portal and which students are not.

Navigating to the Student Self-Report Account Management Page:

To delete a student and their ratings, follow the steps below:

1. In the DESSA System Educator Portal, select the gear icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
2. From the dropdown menu, select Admin.
3. On the left side of the screen, select Student Self-Report (Image 1)

What is on the Student Self-Report Account Management Page:

On the Student Self-Report Account Management page, you will see a table of your students in the DESSA System, as well as some filters and a search bar.

The filters allow you to narrow down your view by site, grade, and status (registered or unregistered). The search bar allows you to search for a student directly by their name or student ID.

In the students table, you will see several columns, each with its own bit of information about that student. The columns are as follows:

Column Name	Column Information
Student ID	This column shows the student ID for the student in that row as it is found in the Aperture System. This is the student ID the student will need to enter as part of the registration process to properly register their account.  The student ID is also a clickable link that when clicked will take you to the My Students report for that student.
Last Name	This column shows the student's last name. Prior to the student registering, this is the last name that they were rostered with in the Aperture System.  After registering, this will display the last name the student registered with.
First Name	This column shows the student's first name. Prior to the student registering, this is the first name that they were rostered with in the Aperture System.  After registering, this will display the first name the student registered with.
Username	This column will store the system generated unique username for each student. It cannot be changed.
Activation Date	This column will show the date that the student registered.
Account Status	This column will show “Unregistered” if the student hasn't registered for the Student Portal. Once the student registers, it will show “Registered”.
Grade Level	This column shows the student's grade level and is pulled from the Aperture System, not the Student Portal.
Delete Registration	This column shows a trashcan. By clicking on this trashcan, you can delete a student registration and the student can re-register.  For more information on deleting a registration, see the article Deleting SSR Student Registrations and Ratings.
