Rating Window Summary Report

Overview

The Rating Window Summary Report will allow schools or districts to compare and analyze how students are rated within the same school or between other schools based on specific distributions such as race and ethnicity and academic categorizations you have uploaded data into the DESSA Educator Portal.

To access the new Rating Window Summary Report

1. Click on the Ratings top menu then Rating Window Summary

2. Now select the Site(s) you wish to include in the report data

3. Choose your Rater Type 

4. Select Run Report

5. Scroll to the desired Breakout from the available categories for comparison:

• Grade Level (See #1 on Image 1)
• Race / Ethnicity (See #2 on Image 1)
• Subgroups (i.e. SPED, Section 504, Migrant, Gifted, etc.) (See #1 on Image 2)
• By Rater (See #2 on Image 2) (if only 1 site is selected)
• By Site (See Image 3) (if multiple sites are selected)
  
  
  • If a single site is selected, scores will be broken out by rater (See #2 on Image 2)
  • If more than one site is selected, scores will be broken out by the site

6. Print your Report Window by selecting the three dots in the upper right-hand of the Rating Report Summary screen and selecting Print. (See #1 on Image 5)

7. Each Breakout can be specifically exported to a CSV file by clicking the blue Export CSV (link directly across from the desired Breakout heading. (See Image 6)
