Deleting a Site from the DESSA System
Overview
This article describes all the ramifications of deleting a site from the DESSA System.
Results of Deleting a Site
When a site is deleted from the DESSA System, all students enrolled in that site will be deleted from the system. Historical data (such as previous ratings) will still be available. However, if those students are subsequently added back to the system with the same Student ID, you will be able to see all previous ratings associated with those students.
Additionally, deleting a site will result in staff at the site being deleted, as well as removing any associations other staff have with that site. For example, if one staff member is listed as a Site Leader at all sites within a program, they will no longer be connected to the deleted site. They will have to be re-assigned to that site if it is ever added back to the system.
Before deleting a site, the system will provide a warning message (Image 1) prompting the user to type "delete" to confirm they really want to remove the site.
