How long should a rating window be open?
Overview
This article explains the recommended time that rating windows should be open.
Rating Window Duration
The Program Administrator can leave rating windows open anywhere between 1 and 10 weeks. We recommend 2 weeks to allow for ratings to occur during a similar time frame for greater validity.
When the rating window is open, the raters will be able to complete ratings based on the Yearly Setup defined by the Program Administrator. If notifications are turned on, educators with assigned ratings will receive notifications regarding the rating window.
After the rating(s) that were assigned have been completed, raters can complete additional ratings by selecting the Ratings tab, choosing a student, and selecting the Complete Progress Monitoring button.
