DESSA 2 and DESSA 2 mini Item Crosswalk and Competency Alignment

Overview

The items on the four forms of the DESSA 2 mini were selected from the 40 items on the full DESSA 2 assessment. The crosswalk resource attached below provides an item crosswalk to show how the items on the DESSA 2 assessments relate to one another. The DESSA 2 mini Competency Alignment document shows which competency each DESSA 2 mini item is assigned to, based on the full DESSA 2. 

Importantly, please note that these resources are designed to be a reference tool. The full DESSA 2 should always be used to gain a complete understanding of a student's specific social and emotional competencies. The DESSA 2 mini is designed to provide a measure of a student's overall social and emotional competence.
