Notification Center for SSR Educators
Overview
This article provides an overview of the Notification Center, which is available to Educators assigned to students using the DESSA Student Self-Report assessments.
Notifications
The Notification Center provides real-time updates for student activities completed in the Student Portal. This includes notifications for when a student 1) creates or completes a goal or challenge, 2) writes an update, or 3) uploads an attachment. To view Notifications, select the bell icon in the top right corner of the DESSA System. The most recent notification will appear at the top. Select View All Notifications to go to the Notification Center, or click on a notification to view more details (Image 1).

Notification Center Filters
Educators can filter notifications by status (all, read, and unread), by Custom Group, and by activity type (all, only challenges, or only goals). Notifications are also searchable by student first name, last name, and student ID. Educators can also mark all notifications as read and export goals and challenges from the Notification Center page.

Impersonating Educators
Program Administrators and Site Leaders can use the impersonation view to see the Notification Center for any educator. When using the impersonation view, notifications will not be marked as read, and messages cannot be posted to student goals or challenges.
