Determining who should implement Strategies

Overview

Generally, strategies are chosen and implemented by educators and other school staff on site. This may include teachers, program directors, counselors, or other school/program staff.  An essential part of our approach is that strategies to promote social and emotional competence are woven into the everyday classroom activities that teachers and staff are already engaging in. Parents are involved in the planning process whenever possible, especially if they also completed a DESSA.
