K-8 DESSA (First Edition) Implementation Guide

Overview

This implementation guide was developed for K-8 school teams using the DESSA System (specifically the first editions of the DESSA-mini and DESSA) to assess and support their students’ social and emotional skills. The guide outlines the process for data-driven SEL within a multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) framework. The purpose of this guide is to help educators access, review, and use the data from the DESSA System to inform their SEL programs and to build the social and emotional competence of all students.
